Hose break protection
Selenoid valves control the pressure, volume flow or flow direction of hydraulic fluids in the cylinder. Hose burst protection valves are screwed into a manifold block or directly into lift cylinders and tilt cylinders. These hose burst protection valves serve as a sort of hydraulic 'gate' that closes off all the cylinders until the valves are operated by a push button.
Even if a hose or line were to burst, the tail lift would be held in position as soon as the push button were released. HACO hose burst protection valves for Dhollandia and Zepro have an emergency operation feature that allows them to be operated in the event of a malfunction. During emergency operation always stay out of the range of travel of the platform and the moving parts of the tail lift, such as lift arms and cylinders. After manual operation, do not forget to return the valves to the closed position and screw on the safety cap.
