Drive with a hydraulic motor
The biggest advantage of drive with a hydraulic motor is the direct power transfer at the two mounting plates, resulting in smooth, controlled movement, which is something that drive with a hydraulic cylinder cannot provide.
Pinions or sprockets are fitted on both sides of the supporting arm. These engage with the gear racks or chains on the carriage. The direction is changed by reversing the flow of oil in the hydraulic motor. This is done by a 4/3 valve, which is mounted on the hydraulic motor.
